Increased Flights to Riyadh With Etihad

It has been revealed by Etihad Airways that they are to open access to the Middle East by increasing their flights to Saudi Arabias Riyadh. Whilst the airline currently offers a daily service, from 30th October they will increase the number of flights per week to 13.

Offering greater connectivity to the Middle Eastern market and Etihads global network of routes, the additional services will make travelling back and forth to Saudi Arabia far easier. With 13 flights, passengers will find access to Indonesia, the Philippines and the Indian subcontinent even easier than previously, and they will welcome the increased travel choice.

Speaking about the increase in flights, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, James Hogan, said “Saudi Arabia is a key market for Etihad Airways, and Riyadh has always been an important strategic destination for the airline. These changes allow us to strengthen our position within the GCC network.” He added that the A320 and A330s to be used on the route would allow premium passengers, in particular, to take advantage of the aircrafts luxury cabins. And with the Middle East increasingly important on the business and leisure scene, the latest service increases are certain to be welcomed.
